This project aims to develop several topics for multiple access wireless networks. Mainly, we have focused on the following topics:
Recently, compressed sensing (CS) has received lots of attention to reduce information rate for signal processing. As one line of research in this project, we aim to apply the CS to wireless signal transmission over sensor networks.
We are also investigating recovery algorithm for compressive sensing via Belief propagation. We are trying to improve the reconstruction performance of the algorithm as well as computational complexity.
Relay selection is one of the techniques to deal with such multiple relay networks. The basic concept is that the system chooses single or a few relays for the transmission, instead of using all relays naively. The relay selection not only maintains the diversity order but also improves the spectral efficiency as well as reduces the complexity for the destination.
